To all
It is not my understanding that the Committee ever agreed to or wanted postings from those who are not members of the website. It appears that anyone can post to the Discussion Forums, which rather devalues the point of being a member I would have thought.

Mark,
There is currently no "value" in being a member of this website. Currently the website is open membership. What is the point in forcing people to become a member of the site, just to use the forums? It offers us no benefits. Later, once we have agreement on what the group's membership is, I'll be able to address this and the website will be there to benefit our members. In the mean time, the only difference between an anonymous poster to a forum and a registered member is that the registered user took two mins of their time to fill in their details.
The Committee never said that they didn't want anonymous postings. I left them there because it makes the forums as inclusive as possible. You complain about this anonymous poster, but he made a perfectly valid contribution to the forum and that's a lot more than can be said for the dozens of people registered on the site that make no contribution to the forums whatsoever.
