Re: draft programme and actions from Tuesday's meeting

		  Hi,

I've connected with the BCS Oxfordshire branch and tentatively started to plan for the Oxfam Case Study to happen as part of a joint meeting in late Nov, as per email thread below. (It coincides with another open source meeting they had planned for Nov: alternative might be to push our meeting back to April, but for now I'm trying to work within our originally agreed agenda.)

I still need to confirm exact date and title with Romilly.

How do we handle financial discussions with the Oxbordshire branch?

Cheers,
Graham

		  Hi,

I've had confirmation from Romilly of her talk title and speaker details, as follows:

The title is fine. Case Study: Oxfam and Open Source

Biog details:

Ms Romilly Gregory. Systems Architecture Manager for Oxfam GB, responsible for Oxfams web based and marketing systems. Also responsible for ensuring Oxfam GB adopts well thought through technical strategies for both infrastructure and applications. Worked for 20 years in the IT industry as a developer and IT manager, mainly in not for profit sector, notably for Amnesty International and Clinical Operational Research Unit (Univeristy College, London).

I'm still trying to settle on dates. November may be hard as it may clash with the World Summit on the Information Society, which Romilly may be attending. Will continue to update via this thread. One possibility is to reschedule to 27 April, when the BCS Oxfordshire Branch have a slot - I don't yet know how this works for Romilly.

Cheers,
Graham
